FHF03 is a general-purpose heat flux sensor. Looking for a relatively small sensor with the best price-performance ratio, this should be your first choice. FHF03 is very versatile: it has an integrated temperature sensor and thermal spreaders to reduce thermal conductivity dependence. It is applicable over a temperature range from –40 to +150 °C. FHF03 is designed for robustness with durable wire connections and cabling. Qualities like these are unmatched at this price level. -
FHF04 is the latest standard model for general-purpose heat flux measurement. Significantly thinner and more flexible, FHF04 replaces earlier models FHF01 and FHF02. FHF04 is very versatile: it has an integrated temperature sensor and thermal spreaders to reduce thermal conductivity dependence. It is applicable over a temperature range from –70 to +120 °C. FHF04 measures heat flux from conduction, radiation and convection. Optionally, black BLK and gold GLD stickers are available to separately determine heat transport by radiation and convection.- flexible (bending radius ≥ 7.5 x 10⁻³ m)
- low thermal resistance
- wide temperature range
- fast response time
- large guard area
- integrated type T thermocouple
- robustness, including wiring with strain relief block
- IP protection class: IP67 (essential for outdoor application)
- integrated thermal spreaders for low thermal conductivity dependence

A next-level sensor from the world market leader in heat flux measurement, FHF04SC is a combination of our standard model FHF04 heat flux sensor and a heater. The heater allows the user to perform self-tests, verifying sensor functionality and stability during use, without having to remove the sensor. FHF04SC is ideal for high-accuracy and long-term heat flux measurement, construction of calorimeters, (zero heat flux) core temperature measurement and thermal conductivity test equipment.- Flexible (bending radius ≥ 15 x 10⁻³ m)
- Low thermal resistance
- Wide temperature range
- Fast response time
- Integrated type T thermocouple
- Robustness, including metal connection block, may be used as strain relief
- IP protection class: IP67 (essential for outdoor application)
- Integrated thermal spreaders for low thermal conductivity dependence

FHF05 is the product range to start looking if you consider measuring heat flux. Models are available in five different dimensions and sensitivities. All FHF05’s are flexible, have an integrated temperature sensor and have thermal spreaders to reduce thermal conductivity dependence. Rated temperature range is from –70 to +120 °C. FHF05 measures heat flux from conduction, radiation and convection. Optionally, black BLK and gold GLD stickers are available for all five models to separately determine heat transport by radiation and convection. In case the FHF05 series does not match your needs, have a look at other heat flux sensor models for special applications.- flexible (bending radius ≥ 7.5 x 10-3 m)

FTN02 Field thermal needle system performs accurate on-site (field) measurements of the thermal resistivity and thermal conductivity of soils. Measurements with FTN02 comply with ASTM D5334 and IEEE 442 standards. The system is specifically designed for surveys that require measurements from the surface down to a depth of 1.5 m. Due to the long and thin lance to which the sensor is mounted, the insertion of the thermal needle into the soil requires just a small-diameter access hole, typically made using a ground drill. Using a lance rather than digging trenches saves time. FTN02 is operated and powered from the hand-held control and readout unit CRU02.- Suitable for on-site (field) surveys
- Easy data processing
- Local calibration / conformity assessment

HF01 high temperature heat flux sensor measures heat flux and surface temperature at high temperatures, typically in industrial environments. It is particularly suitable for trend-monitoring and comparative testing. The same technology can be used to manufacture heat flux sensors for different applications.- Robust
- Suitable for use at high temperatures
- Low thermal resistance
- High sensitivity
- IP protection class: IP68

HF02 is a sensor that measures radiant heat flux or thermal radiation in the outdoor environment. A common application is monitoring the radiation emitted by flares. HF02 is certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, and is rated for radiation levels up to 15 x 10³ W/m². We recommend use of HF02 in a decision-supporting role only, and not to use measurements of HF02 as the main or sole source of information for judging safety.- Robust
- All-weather
- Suitable for potentially explosive environments

HF03 is a heat flux sensor that is applied in mobile measurements. It is combined with LI19, a high accuracy handheld read-out unit / datalogger. The combination HF03- LI19 is typically used to study heat flux levels of flares and fires, and to verify the performance of permanently installed flare radiation monitors and flare heat flux sensors.- Operation of HF03-LI19 is easy
