Albedometers are increasingly popular in bifacial PV module monitoring. The new AMF03 albedometer kit can be combined with two model SR30 pyranometers to construct an albedometer of spectrally flat Class A, the highest accuracy class according to ISO 9060 (formerly known as ‘secondary standard’). AMF03 may also be combined with two model SR15 pyranometers to construct a spectrally flat Class B albedometer. The modular design facilitates maintenance and calibration of the pyranometers. AMF03 albedometer kit includes a mounting fixture, a glare screen, mounting instructions and a set of hex keys. All else you need are two suitable pyranometers.

  • CMF01

Crossarm mounting fixture for pyranometers, albedometers, and net radiometers

Hukseflux offers a full range of practical brackets for mounting atmospheric radiation sensors in all climates and weather conditions. CMF01 is a versatile fixture allowing the mounting of a crossarm onto a vertical mast. It is typically used with SR05, SR15, and SR30 pyranometers with their mounting fixtures. It can also be used in combination with NR01 net radiometers and SRA series albedometers.

  • CRC Series

Calibration Reference Cylinders for Thermal Needle Probes TP02/TP08, TP07 and TP09

CRC's contain traceable thermal conductivity reference materials for calibration of Non-Steady-State Probes. There are several different CRC types. The geometry of the different types is adapted to fit needles with a certain diameter. Hukseflux is a leading supplier of Non-Steady-State Probes, and is the inventor of the CRC calibration method.
    • Amorphous plastic reference material does not have any directionally dependent thermal properties
  • DR15-A1

Analogue spectrally flat Class B pyrheliometer, with heating

DR15 pyrheliometer is an ISO 9060 spectrally flat Class B (old ISO classification “first class”) instrument. It replaces the models DR01, DR02 and DR03. DR15 is used in tracker-mounted operation, and offers analogue millivolt output. The instrument offer the highest accuracy and highest data availability, featuring window heating at low offsets. At the same heating power, the heating has been improved with a factor 4, at a 4 times lower offset! Also take a look at the spectrally flat Class A DR20 Pyrheliometer, with a better temperature response than DR15.
    • ISO 9060 spectrally flat Class B
    • Heating at low offsets for high data availability
    • Low power consumption
    • Analogue millivolt output
    • Supplied with test report for the individual instrument
  • DR20-A1

Analogue spectrally flat Class A Pyrheliometer, with heating

DR20-A1 is a high-accuracy direct (normal incidence) solar radiation sensor, or pyrheliometer. DR20 pyrheliometer complies with the Class A specifications of the ISO 9060 standard. It has a better temperature response than DR15-A1, which is a spectrally flat Class B pyrheliometer. These instruments are used in tracker-mounted operation, and offer analogue millivolt outputs. DR-series pyrheliometers have superior window heating that leads to high data availability.
    • ISO 9060 spectrally flat Class A
    • Heating at low offsets for high data availability
    • Low power consumption
    • Analogue millivolt output
    • Supplied with test report for the individual instrument, including temperature response
  • DR30-D1

Next level digital first class pyrheliometer

Welcome to the next level in solar radiation monitoring! DR30 is a high-accuracy digital direct (normal incidence) solar radiation sensor. The scientific name of this instrument is pyrheliometer. DR30 complies with the first class specifications of the ISO 9060 standard and the WMO Guide. This next level pyrheliometer has superior window heating that leads to high data availability, and an internal tilt sensor to check tracker performance.
    • ISO spectrally flat Class A
    • Low power consumption: DR30 needs only 2 W to keep its window free from dew and frost
    • Highest accuracy and highest data availability, featuring heating at low offsets, and on-board tilt and humidity sensors
  • FTN02

Field Thermal Needle System for Thermal Resistivity / Conductivity Measurement

FTN02 Field thermal needle system performs accurate on-site (field) measurements of the thermal resistivity and thermal conductivity of soils. Measurements with FTN02 comply with ASTM D5334 and IEEE 442 standards. The system is specifically designed for surveys that require measurements from the surface down to a depth of 1.5 m. Due to the long and thin lance to which the sensor is mounted, the insertion of the thermal needle into the soil requires just a small-diameter access hole, typically made using a ground drill. Using a lance rather than digging trenches saves time. FTN02 is operated and powered from the hand-held control and readout unit CRU02.
    • Suitable for on-site (field) surveys
    • Easy data processing
    • Local calibration / conformity assessment
  • GT Series

Guiding Tubes for Thermal Needles TP02, TP07 and TP08

The GT series guiding tubes are accessories for Non-Steady-State Needle probes. They are intended to facititate measurements in hard soils, concrete, cement and bentonite. Also in case of measurements on large quantities of samples one can use several guiding tubes and one single needle.
