• ALUSYS

Measuring System for Heat Flux and Temperature Survey

ALUSYS is a measuring system for trend-monitoring and mobile survey of heat flux and surface temperature in industrial environments. Sensors and electronics have the robustness necessary for this application. Powered from a low-voltage rechargeable battery, it is easy and safe to use. In its standard configuration the system consists of an MCU Measurement Control Unit in a metal housing and 12 x heat flux and surface temperature sensors of model HF01. Measured data are stored for later analysis.

  • BLK – GLD Sticker Series

Black and gold stickers for measuring convective and radiative heat flux separately

Want to study energy transport / heat flux in detail? Hukseflux helps taking your measurement to the next level: provide your heat flux sensors with radiation-absorbing black and radiation-reflecting gold stickers. You can then measure convective + radiative flux with one, and convective flux only with the other. Subtract the two measurements and you have radiative flux. GLD and BLK stickers are available for sensor models FHF04, FHF04SC, FHF03 and HFP01. They are designed to be applied by the user to the sensor; see the user manual and installation video for instructions.
    • Makes it possible to perform convective and radiative heat flux measurements
    • Available as accessory for FHF04, FHF04SC, FHF03 and HFP01 heat flux sensors
    • Designed to be applied by the user
  • FHF04

Foil heat flux sensor with thermal spreaders, flexible, 50 x 50 mm, with temperature sensor

FHF04 is the latest standard model for general-purpose heat flux measurement. Significantly thinner and more flexible, FHF04 replaces earlier models FHF01 and FHF02. FHF04 is very versatile: it has an integrated temperature sensor and thermal spreaders to reduce thermal conductivity dependence. It is applicable over a temperature range from –70 to +120 °C. FHF04 measures heat flux from conduction, radiation and convection. Optionally, black BLK and gold GLD stickers are available to separately determine heat transport by radiation and convection.

  • FHF04SC

Self-calibrating foil heat flux sensor with thermal spreaders and heater

A next-level sensor from the world market leader in heat flux measurement, FHF04SC is a combination of our standard model FHF04 heat flux sensor and a heater. The heater allows the user to perform self-tests, verifying sensor functionality and stability during use, without having to remove the sensor. FHF04SC is ideal for high-accuracy and long-term heat flux measurement, construction of calorimeters, (zero heat flux) core temperature measurement and thermal conductivity test equipment.

  • FHF05 Series

Foil heat flux sensor with thermal spreaders, flexible, with temperature sensor

FHF05 is the product range to start looking if you consider measuring heat flux. Models are available in five different dimensions and sensitivities. All FHF05’s are flexible, have an integrated temperature sensor and have thermal spreaders to reduce thermal conductivity dependence. Rated temperature range is from –70 to +120 °C. FHF05 measures heat flux from conduction, radiation and convection. Optionally, black BLK and gold GLD stickers are available for all five models to separately determine heat transport by radiation and convection. In case the FHF05 series does not match your needs, have a look at other heat flux sensor models for special applications.

  • GG01

Gardon Gauge Water-Cooled High Heat Flux Sensor

GG01 is a water-cooled sensor that measures heat flux. The Gardon gauge sensor is based on copper and copper alloys, and works at heat flux levels at which other sensors get toasted. Optionally GG01 can be equipped with a sapphire window; to measure radiative heat flux only, and not convective heat flux. GG01 has an on-board thermocouple type K and is available with various dedicated measurement ranges.
